Install MySQL on MacOS with Post Install Instructions

MySQL is a tiny bit more nuanced than your usual program install, but it ain’t all that complicated. Let’s get started.

Go to the Mac Install page here [1] and decide which method you want to use to install MySQL. I chose to use the Native .dmg installer, but you could also use homebrew or other methods if you desire.
